The export of Danish biogas technology could grow anywhere from 100 % to an astonishing 900 % by 2035, according to experts. The amount of biogas in the supply networks of Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden and Germany is expected to grow substantially by 2020, and France has plans to transfer all gas consumption to biogas by 2050.

“Denmark is an international leader within biogas, a position that ought to pay off in the form of increased exports. France is an ideal export market because the country also has a strong food industry that can supply the volume of biomass required.”  –Damvad CEO Kristian Mørk Puggaard
