The 2017 JPMorgan Chase Business Leaders Outlook report reveals that middle market executives in the US are demonstrating high levels of optimism in the global, national and local economies and have confidence in the roles their companies play in those economies. Those surveyed also see great value in foreign markets, with about half of those queried already entrenched in international activities and another 10% of companies demonstrating a desire to start doing business on a global scale in the next three years. The main reasons given for the uptick in international activity interest are access to new customers/markets and access to suppliers/materials.
